What I Do: I am the Youth Intern for 2023-2024
Spouse/Kids: I have yet to have either of these.
Education & Experience: I am in my third year of the Youth Worker Program at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, on the mainland. I love working with young people and this past summer I had the amazing opportunity to serve at Timberline Ranch as a cabin leader working closely with the campers, showing God's love to them.
Book/Author that impacted me the most: A book that had an enormous impact on me was You are Not Your Own by Alan Noble.
Favourite Scripture: I have two favourite verses. The first one: Romans 8:38 "And I am convinced that nothing can ever seperate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fear for today nor our worries for tomorrow ---not even the powers of hell can seperate us from God's love"
The second one: 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline".
A few if my Favourite Things: I love animals of all sorts, plants, painting, and anything that involves nature!
Hope & Vision for Courtenay Baptist: The Jesus' presence would be so evident in the people of the church. I hope that Courtenay Baptist is a safe space for all to encounter the love and person of Jesus in real ways through prayer, scripture and community.
