The kids! Isn't it a joy to see so many kids in our church? The Kids Quest ministry and Youth Group continue to grow, and we see lives being changed. God is shaping the next generation among us. The youth are already among our most active volunteers! Jesus is calling children to himself, and we get to watch him plant wisdom in their hearts as they grow in his ways.
On Sunday we looked at Solomon, a king whose wisdom and glory were renowned in all the world, and yet his heart eventually wandered. His glory could not save him. But when Jesus, the One greater than Solomon appeared, we saw true wisdom in humility, God's glory in sacrifice. Jesus, the King of kings blessed the humble. And we’re seeing him shape our children and youth with that same wisdom even now.
Our Make a Difference giving campaign is focussed on children and youth this week, I invite you to pray for them with expectation. Christ is raising up a generation who will follow him. Take up the Advent readings in our app and ask Jesus to lead us, and especially our children, in his pathway of life.
