If we needed any evidence of God’s faithfulness among us, we wouldn’t have to look any further than the faces of the people gathered here each Sunday. Jesus the Shepherd-King is leading his people home, and we get to watch him do it one life at a time.

King David’s story on Sunday centred around God’s promises to him of a forever kingdom and a Shepherd-King. There were times those promises might have seemed unlikely, but when the Good Shepherd appeared, we saw him fulfill everything with breathtaking wonder. And we’re seeing him fulfill those promises even to this day among us!

As we prepare for two services and invite you to support this ministry in our Make a Difference giving campaign, I want to invite something deeper: expectation. Christ is moving in our church and in our world in ways we’re only beginning to glimpse. So take up the Advent readings in our app and walk these weeks with the Shepherd-King who is faithfully leading us forward.
