This summer, grow in leadership, deepen your faith, and serve others through our Student Summer Leadership Program.  Designed for students who want to be stretched, challenged, and equipped to lead like Jesus, this three-part program combines focused leader training, practical leadership experience, and exciting team-building activities. The full cost of the Student Summer Leadership Program—including training, day camp, and the team trip—is just $40!   Registration Deadline is June 1st

Program Schedule:

  • Leadership Training: July 15–17
  • Leadership Experience (Summer Day Camp): July 21–25
  • Team Trip:  July 28 – Parksville (Grades 6-7) // July 30 – Tofino (Grades 8-12)

What to Expect

Week 1 – Leadership Training (July 15–17)

Students will participate in age-specific leadership sessions that include teaching, group discussion, and team challenges.

  • Jr. Youth (Completed grade 6–7):10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Sr. Youth (Completed grade 8–12):1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Week 2 – Practical Leadership Experience (July 21–25)
From 8:45-12:45 students will take on active leadership roles during CFBC’s Summer Day Camp—helping run games, assist leaders, and care for younger campers. There will also be a special Student Leader Lunch midweek (Wednesday) to refuel and debrief.

Week 3 – Celebration Trip
To celebrate and reflect on the experience, we’ll wrap up with a fun off-site day trip:
• Jr. Youth (Grades 6–7): July 28 – Parksville Mini Golf & Bumper Boats
• Sr. Youth (Grades 8–12): July 30 – Tofino Adventure
