Wedding Preparation

Preliminary Premarital Counseling Questionnaire PDF or Word

The decision to marry someone is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. It will affect the rest of your life! God considers marriage sacred as we are told many times in the Bible.

"Let marriage be held in honour among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Hebrews 13:4, ESV

God gives us an image of marriage to show how much he loves us.

"for as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall you God rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5, ESV

As you prepare to begin a life together as husband and wife we ask that you spend time in counsel with your Pastor to gain a better understanding of God's plan for marriage. Please take time to complete the Questionnaire and bring it with you to your first meeting with the Pastor.

Also, please take a moment to listen to the following sermon by Pastor Peter titled "When Looking for a Spouse" from Genesis 24

Child Dedication

Another very important decision as we walk in faith is to dedicate our children to the Lord. Ultimately, their choice to follow Him is one they will have to make for themselves. Meanwhile, we can promise to raise them up according to the will of God and trust He will work powerfully in their lives. If you would like more information about this please contact the Church Office.

Emergency Preparedness

One way our Church can serve the community in which we live is to offer a place where people can go during an emergency. Not only can spiritual guidance and wisdom be sought during a crisis but a safe gathering place for those in need is provided. How our Church can fill this need is not known for now it is just and idea. If there is anyone interested in taking on this task or helping out, please contact the Church Office.
